What is a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols?

It is an annual event featuring nine readings from scripture related to the birth of Jesus; and in between the readings we sing Christmas Carols! The readers are from each of the three churches in our family of parishes. It rotates among the parishes in our family. Last year it was at St. Vincent de Paul. This year it is at Immaculate Conception.

It is a great way for the whole family to prepare for Christmas. Bring the kids! Bring a friend! Or come alone!

You might want to join in the singing of the familiar Christmas songs. The readings and songs are included in the program book which will be available at the church on that day.

There are many versions of Lessons and Carols. This version is unique to our family of parishes.

Following the singing, please join us for the Christmas Party with food and refreshments. There is no charge.

This event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus councils at St. Vincent de Paul and Immaculate Conception, but you do not have to be a member to attend. All are welcome!
